Cara is a Clinical Psychologist with many years’ experience working with individuals after traumatic events.
She has worked alongside clients as they process specific traumatic incidents, make sense of complex and/or developmental trauma, and adjust to traumatic injuries.
Cara also has experience working within healthcare settings. She enjoys supporting clients as they adjust to new health diagnoses or cope with chronic/long term health conditions. She also has experience working with clients who may develop mood or anxiety disorders within this context.
In addition to working directly with clients, Cara is passionate about increasing psychological safety within clients’ existing support networks. She has many years’ experience liaising with clients’ wider communities and allied health teams, to maximise the outcomes of psychological interventions.
