Meet Sally Edwards

Sally is a clinical psychologist with over 15 years experience working in both the private and public sector.

Sally has extensive knowledge in the assessment and treatment of mental health concerns across all developmental ages, and supports her clients through any struggles including, symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief and loss, stress, worry and other experiences of psychological distress. She has a special interest in supporting both child and adult clients in their recovery from trauma, including both single-incident (once-off) traumas or complex traumas, whereby there has been a history of experiencing recurrent, or long-term trauma.

Sally uses a range of evidence-based therapies including, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy, and mindfulness-based therapies.

Sally believes that finding a psychologist you feel at ease with and comfortable to share your innermost thoughts and feelings is of prime importance in building a good therapeutic relationship. She is passionate and committed in supporting people to share their personal stories in a safe, empathetic and rewarding environment. When she is away from work you will find her together with her two children shooting hoops, singing, playing games and navigating the journey of parenting.
