Meet Lisa Hancock
Lisa is a Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar who has completed Masters training in Clinical Psychology at the University of New South Wales.
Lisa utilises predominantly cognitive behaviour therapy and schema focused therapy approaches.
Lisa has worked in adult private practice since 2015, and has also worked in community health and hospital-based settings, including a clinical research and treatment facility investigating the cognitive, neurological and biological factors that affect recovery from psychological disorders.
Lisa has designed and conducted group training in self-compassion, mindfulness and acceptance skills, as well as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) treatment programmes for anxiety, obsessive-compulsive and posttraumatic disorders.
Lisa is completing a PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of New South Wales. She has general registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. She is a registered Medicare provider, and is an associate member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association.
