As an adult navigating our way through the world, challenges we face can result in a myriad of different troubling emotions and coping strategies.

Stress and overwhelm, depression or anxiety, or just having trouble adjusting to or adapting to life’s challenges. Perhaps just feeling desperately uncomfortable with ourselves or within ourselves.

We may have trauma that we’ve never worked though, we may be experiencing grief or loss. Thankfully, psychologists are well versed in helping people navigate through life using strategies which are all designed to empower you to manage your own thoughts, emotions and behaviours in a more helpful way.

Our adult team of clinicians utilise various therapeutic modalities including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR), schema therapy, grief therapy, chronic pain management, Gottman Couples Counselling, motivational interviewing, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), virtual reality therapy and  interpersonal psychotherapy.
