I am a Clinical Psychologist with experience working with a wide variety of individuals for a range of concerns and experiences. I believe that everyone is deserving of mental health care, and this has led me to build up my experience in a number of different settings, each bringing with it a new appreciation for the challenges that individuals can face across the lifespan. I have worked in hospitals (psychiatric and perinatal), private practice, NGOs, and forensic settings, and have also done some volunteer work with refugees and asylum seekers. I have keen interest in the assessment and treatment of trauma, emotional dysregulation, anger, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorders, and believe that the therapeutic relationship is key in working in these areas.
When I’m not at work, I love to keep active by running, and doing yoga in my living room. Completing my postgraduate degree in Tasmania also led me to develop a love and appreciation for nature and the outdoors, so when the weather lets me I love to get outside for a bush walk or a trail run.
I am currently accepting referrals from GPs under Medicare Mental Health Care Plans, or clients through self-referrals or private health care funds.
