Transforming Minds

Every Age, Every Stage

How We Can Help

Our many years of experience have shown us that at times everyone feels overwhelmed by the day to day pressures of modern life. This can result in not coping as well as we would like and often suffering emotional distress. Our role as Psychologists is to help you or your child find your way back to a great quality of life again.

Feeling Nervous?

New clients often report feeling a little nervous making their first contact with a Psychologist. We understand that getting started can be difficult so we endeavour to make the process as easy as we can.

The First Step

Do you want to find the right person to talk to about emotional challenges, stress or other life concerns? Call 8418 3834 to speak to our friendly receptionist Julia or alternatively talk to your GP about referral options.

Professional, mental health support for the whole family.

Working in Partnership With You

At ThinkWise, we work in a respectful and collaborative way with you. In this, we create an environment where you can feel comfortable sharing your concerns and we will work with you in establishing your goals for therapy.
We recognise that at times, collaborating with your other health professionals, including your GP, can ensure the best outcomes for you. We can work closely with your GP to ensure they are kept updated for your ongoing wellbeing.

Life Stressors

Sometimes we can feel overwhelmed by our day-to-day lives and start to feel like we are not coping as well as we would like too.

These feelings of overwhelm can present as anxiety, depression or just a general feeling of “not being on top of things”.

If you have been feeling overwhelmed for a while you may find it helpful to talk to someone who can help you with some strategies to gain control of life again.

Children & Adolescents

From toddlers, school age children, adolescents and teenagers, right through to year 12 students, if there is an issue that needs professional caring help we can be of assistance to your child and your family.

We understand that each individual has their own set of personal strengths and challenges, we focus on building on the strengths while assisting the young person with effective ways to manage and overcome their specific challenges.

Adults & Older Adults

Individuals who come to therapy are often finding life difficult to manage. The goal of therapy is to assist you to find clarity about your situation. We provide a safe, non-judgemental space for you to share your concerns.

Our approach is about teaching skills to help you be the kind of people you want to be. In the same way that you can learn to read, cook or ride a bike you can learn to live a happy, enjoyable life.

Across the Lifespan Family Practice

Support for all ages; whether you’re 4 or 94, together we can help you overcome challenges to feel happy and fulfilled. We offer assessment and treatment of a range of presenting concerns, and aim to provide support and understanding for the whole family.
